Changes to Executive

At last night's, 25 July, Executive meeting, Councillor Justin Pemberton was appointed to the Executive.

Councillor Pemberton has been appointed the Executive Member for Public Safety and Community Engagement, taking over from Councillor Lee Dillon who is stepping down from the Executive.

Councillor Justin Pemberton, speaking of his new appointment said:
"I am honoured to step into the role of Executive Member for Public Safety and Community Engagement. Our communities are the heart of our society, and their safety and well-being are paramount. I am committed to furthering our relationship with residents and ensuring that every voice is heard and valued."

Councillor Jeff Brooks, Leader of West Berkshire Council said:
"I wish Councillor Dillon all the best as he moves forward as a Member of Parliament. We now welcome Councillor Pemberton to the Executive, and I know he ensure that our communities continue to thrive, and their voices are heard. Justin is a very public spirited individual - he cares about people and will work tremendously hard to improve our services and thus residents' lives. I am delighted to welcome him to the front bench."
