Safeguarding Adults Board (SAB)
Information about the Safeguarding Adults Board (SAB).
The Safeguarding Adults Board (SAB) works across West Berkshire, Reading and Wokingham to prevent abuse and neglect. They bring together different agencies to promote good practice around safeguarding adults.
The key aims of the SAB are to:

- make sure that partner agencies have preventative measures in place to reduce the likelihood of abuse happening
- increase the awareness of safeguarding issues amongst the general public, carers, people who draw on care and support, voluntary and paid workers
- provide a framework for the further inter-agency development of safeguarding policy, including learning lessons from practice in Berkshire
