Safeguarding Adults Board: Professionals

The West Berkshire Safeguarding Adults Board was formed on 1st April 2026, following the end of the tri-borough West of Berkshire Safeguarding Adults Board. 

We will update the pages below as the new board reviews and updates information.


'Professionals' refers to any individuals, whether paid or unpaid, who have a formal role in supporting, caring for, or working with adults with care and support needs.

This section of the website is aimed at providing information tools and guidance to all professionals in order to support them in their work.

If you have concerns about an adult who may be being abused or neglected, and need further advice, contact the Safeguarding Adults Team.
