Great British spring clean 2026

Every spring, volunteers across West Berkshire play a huge part in keeping our towns, villages, and countryside looking their best, and we'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who took part in this year's Great British Spring Clean. Your time and energy really do make a difference.

But you don't have to wait for spring to get involved.

If you missed the organised events this year, don't worry. We loan litter picking equipment all year round, provide sacks for collected rubbish, and arrange for everything you gather to be picked up afterwards.

Litter picking is also a  great excuse to get outdoors, enjoy some fresh air, and help protect local wildlife as we head into the warmer months.
