West Berkshire Council safeguarding training
This free training is available to anyone working for a voluntary or community sector organisation. It provides key information about safeguarding adults and/or children.
It covers:
- what safeguarding is
- why we have a duty to safeguard
- types of abuse
- the concept of significant harm
- signs, symptoms and indicators of abuse
- duty to report
- the referral process
- multi-agency approach
- information sharing and confidentiality
The training is face-to-face and held at Shaw House in Newbury.
