Ukrainian Permission Extension visa (UPE)

The government has introduced a new Ukrainian Permission Extension visa (UPE) that is available from 4th February 2025. This needs to be applied for 28 days before your current permissions expire.

The UPE scheme will continue to offer temporary sanctuary to Ukrainians and their eligible family members. It will:

• provide up to 18 months permission to remain in the UK
• provide the same entitlements to work, study, rent and receive benefits
• be free to apply for
