Reading Road Travellers Site Injunction
West Berkshire Council was granted an interim injunction by the High Court of Justice on Friday 19 December 2025 against the landowners and "Persons Unknown" in relation to the unauthorised Traveller site at Reading Road.
The Council returned to the High Court on Monday 12 January 2026, when Justice Tim Moloney KC extended the injunction until the end of January 2026.
On 27 January 2026, Justice Duncan Atkinson KC confirmed that the injunction would remain in place until a substantive hearing can take place after 2 March 2026, due to the complexity of the evidence presented.
Next court date: After 2nd March 2026 (three-day substantive hearing) - awaiting confirmation of dates.

The hearing of Defendant 2, 3, 4, 8, 10, 12, 13 and 22's application dated 11 January 2026 has been listed for:
27 January 2026 for two hours before a High Court Judge, in person.
The Judge and time of the hearing will be confirmed on the working day before on the Daily Cause List (from 3pm).
