The Nature for Health project is dedicated to improving wellbeing by reconnecting people with the natural world.
Spending time outdoors has proven benefits for mental health and physical wellbeing. Going into green spaces can reduce stress, anxiety and overwhelm. Gentle activities like walking, gardening, or simply sitting among trees help to improve our mood and keep us calm.
Physically, nature encourages movement that supports heart health, improves sleep, and builds strength without pressure or intensity. Shared experiences in nature create social connection, reducing loneliness and isolation and creating a sense of belonging.
