e-Books, e-audiobooks, e-magazines and e-newspapers

Please note: we are pleased to tell you that from 9 April you will be able to access e-books and e-audiobooks all in one place, from a single supplier, BorrowBox. Please be aware that existing loans and reservations on Libby will not be available after Tuesday 8 April.

From Tuesday 1 April, there will also be a slight change to how you can access our e-newspaper and e-magazine offer. You will only be able to access these items from PressReader. PressReader access will continue until 31 July, after which date e-magazines and e-newspapers will be made available on BorrowBox.

We are confident that our future service will make it easier for library members to find and read the titles you want, and apologise for any immediate inconvenience while we make this change. 

You can borrow all of these resources free with your library card and PIN

1. download the relevant apps from the Apple app store for iOS users and Google Play store for Android users - if you have a Kindle tablet (such as Kindle Fire), you can download the apps from Amazon
2. search for West Berkshire Libraries
3. login with your library card and PIN to:
   • search and browse thousands of titles to read or listen to online, or download to read offline when you are on the go
   • reserve a title if it's out - we'll email you when it's available
