Hire fees, fines for overdue items and other paid-for services
All books, including audiobooks, e-books, e-magazines and e-newspapers, are available to borrow free of charge.
Other things, such as reserving items from outside West Berkshire stock, hiring a room in one of our buildings or returning an overdue item are subject to a charge.
Our list of 
library fees and charges [167KB] shows which services you have to pay for and how much each costs. Please note that any items reported lost and paid for, and which are subsequently returned to a library within six months of payment, will be refunded in full.
You can pay library charges online by logging in to your account through our library catalogue - any fines or charges you owe will be highlighted. We accept debit and credit card payments this way.
