What you can take to our recycling centres

What our Newtown Road and Padworth centres can and cannot accept.

Before you visit one of our recycling centres, you will need to book an appointment and hold a valid permit.


If there is an issue with disposal or recycling of certain materials, we may have to temporarily stop accepting those materials without notice.
 

What we accept at each recycling centre

We have two recycling centres in West Berkshire:

Charges for DIY waste

There is a charge to dispose of certain quantities of:

  • ceramics
  • hardcore and rubble
  • plasterboard
  • soil
  • all tyres
